About The Position

Applied Materials' VSU BU Implant is searching for an intern to join our team in Spring 2027! Working in our Quality Group as a product Quality engineering intern, the position will entail supporting the processing of defective material, learning of the SAP Integrated Business system, and having the opportunity to visit local suppliers with our Quality team. You will participate on cross-functional teams in solving problems, be exposed to engineering groups, and participate in small projects. You may, if time permits, tour a Semi-conductor fab.

Requirements

• Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
• Student must be in good academic standing at their university
• Student should have strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable being inquisitive and asking people questions
• Organization, thirst for problem solving and communication skills a must
