About The Position

Applied Materials' Display Controls Department is searching for a Co-op to join our team in Spring 2027! The department is responsible for hardware design and improvements for PCBs. The position will entail assisting with electronic and system documentation, soldering and un-soldering components on PCBs, learning schematic capture and fundamentals of PCB design, analyzing problems along with more Senior Engineers, organizing and maintaining our Electronics lab, using test equipment to gather important data, and designing and testing various circuits. The co-op begins in January 2027, on-site at our Gloucester location.

Requirements

• Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's (or Master's) degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
• Desire to learn
• Quick learner

Nice To Haves

• Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred
