About The Position

As a Product Owner, you will be the driving force behind the development of our ERP billing software P/5 in the Financial Accounting module. You will ensure that we deliver maximum value to our customers in the social, healthcare, and church sectors. You will monitor the market, prioritize the backlog, and translate complex requirements into future-oriented standard software. You will actively capture market needs and analyze competitor products to shape the strategic direction and further development of our ERP product in the area of financial accounting. You will understand the core needs of our customers and translate them into clear, value-adding user stories and acceptance criteria for your development team. In close cooperation with developers, consultants, and stakeholders, you will maintain and prioritize the product backlog for the areas of billing, financial accounting, and payment transactions to always deliver the most important things first. You will be available to the team as a subject matter expert during sprints, accompany the implementation, and accept new features for financial accounting. You will ensure that all stakeholders and the Scrum team have a common vision and a shared understanding of the future direction of our standard software.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of solid professional experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable interface function.
• A secure, practically proven methodological foundation in requirements analysis, process modeling, and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management: You know exactly how to involve different interest groups, prioritize requirements, and translate them into clear user stories or specifications.
• High analytical strength and a very structured, solution-oriented way of working.
• The strong ability to understand complex technical and business contexts and to prepare them in an easily understandable way for all target groups.

Nice To Haves

• Practical experience in the environment of complex ERP systems or in-depth expertise in financial accounting.
• Initial contact or industry knowledge in our target markets (social services, healthcare, or church sector).

Responsibilities

• Capture market needs and analyze competitor products to shape the strategic direction and further development of our ERP product in the area of financial accounting.

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog for billing, financial accounting, and payment transactions in collaboration with developers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the team during sprints, accompany implementation, and accept new features for financial accounting.
• Ensure a common vision and understanding of the future direction of the standard software among all stakeholders and the Scrum team.
