About The Position

They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a temporary assignment. This position is responsible for providing expertise in Insperity’s strategic HR solutions portfolio, with a particular emphasis on supporting Ancillary Products that are extensions to their flagship solution, HR360, for an incremental fee. The product marketing professional will deeply understand the features and capabilities of each ancillary product, which includes offerings such as Contractor Management, Retirement Services, Talent Acquisition Services, Insurance Services, and Strategic Advisors for Private Capital Markets.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of product marketing experience in a related B2B field is required.
  • Demonstrated campaign management experience and skills, preferably in a B2B technology or services industry.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and demonstrated ability to learn other computer applications as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is desired.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Product Marketing Alliance (PMA) or Pragmatic product marketing certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable with AI-forward approaches to product marketing workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with product management, sales, and services to develop clear, compelling, and differentiated value propositions, messaging, collateral and digital pages.
  • Works with campaign planners to ensure that messaging is effectively incorporated into the Company’s marketing campaigns.
  • Partners with stakeholders across the business to ensure enabled routes to market.
  • Develops expertise in the designated market, audience, region(s), and product.
  • Identifies market size and addressable market for product and region(s).
  • Understands market trends and directions for product and region(s).
  • Articulates how the ancillary products address market needs.
  • Builds competitive positioning at product capability level, directly against competitors.
  • Applies market and audience insights to build differentiated value propositions and compelling messaging for the ancillary product(s), aligned to target buyer segments.
  • Defines buyers and users for the ancillary products, including development of buyer persona profiles.
  • Develops value proposition and messaging, focused on how the product solves market problems.
  • Tests and refines value propositions and messaging with customers, analysts, and sellers.
  • Utilizes NPS results and client feedback to drive product and journey improvements.
  • Partners with campaign planning to ensure product messaging is effectively incorporated into the Company’s marketing campaigns, aligned to business goals.
  • Supports sales to achieve Worksite Employee (WSEE) and retention/renewal rate targets.
  • Builds and leads go-to-market and launch/release plans aligned to product roadmap.
  • Influences customers, analysts, media, and others, to accept value delivered by the ancillary products.
  • Provides guidance on optimal positioning, tactics, segments, and channel mix.
  • Ensures compelling end-to-end content journeys for the ancillary products, in collaboration with content marketing.
  • Ensures an enabled route to market that can achieve targets for the ancillary products.
  • Understands full deal flow – pipeline metrics and forecasts, conversion rates throughout the funnel, average deal size, length of sales cycle, customer acquisition cost, product feature adoption rate, and customer lifetime value.
  • Partners with sales enablement to ensure completion of effective sales enablement and training materials for all routes to market.
  • Own and support recruiting client reviews.
