About The Position

Sculpted by Aimee is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to work at the intersection of Product Development, Brand and Marketing. The role translates product strategy into compelling, differentiated consumer propositions and owns product messaging hierarchies and copywriting across product communications. The successful candidate will bring consumer and commercial insight to new product development, assess portfolio fit and cannibalisation risks, and lead community insight and testing so customer needs inform product decisions. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role connecting Product and Brand Marketing. It involves developing product and gifting stories, maintaining consistent customer-first communications across touchpoints, and using AI tools where appropriate to support efficient, high-quality copy development. The role is open to Dublin HQ or UK remote. The Product Marketing Manager partners with Product Development and Innovation from concept through launch; evaluates product and portfolio opportunities; shapes naming, claims, positioning and storytelling; and develops clear product and franchise architectures. The role owns messaging hierarchies and product copy, works with Regulatory and Product Development on substantiated and compliant claims, and establishes consumer validation processes. It also leads community testing, turns qualitative and quantitative feedback into recommendations, supports go-to-market alignment and retailer presentations, and reviews post-launch performance. The position manages cross-functional relationships, timelines, dependencies and launch risks, helping ensure that product information, messaging, packaging and launch requirements are aligned. The role also supports sustainable business practices, an inclusive and ethical workplace, community initiatives, and integrity and accountability in business practices.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in product marketing within beauty, cosmetics or skincare.
  • Demonstrated experience taking new products from development to market, with examples of product positioning, consumer propositions, messaging and go-to-market strategy.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, including the ability to turn complex product information into clear, consumer-friendly messaging.
  • Experience developing messaging hierarchies and writing or refining product-led copy for packaging, product descriptions, marketing briefs and campaign communications.
  • Understanding of how to translate consumer, community and market insight into differentiated product propositions and compelling storytelling.
  • Commercial mindset and understanding of how product decisions affect the wider portfolio and customer journey.
  • Experience assessing portfolio architecture, product differentiation, category white space and cannibalisation risk.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple launches, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functional decision-making.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly across claims, packaging and product communications.
  • Proactive and pragmatic, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve.
  • Comfort using AI-enabled tools for copy development, ideation and workflow efficiency, with sound judgement to ensure outputs meet brand, customer and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Development and Innovation from concept through launch to ensure products are strategically positioned, commercially viable and grounded in consumer needs.
  • Evaluate new product development portfolio fit, pricing, category opportunities and white space, unmet needs, trends, competitive positioning, product differentiation, overlap and cannibalisation risks.
  • Bring consumer, community, category and competitive insight to product development and prioritisation while balancing customer relevance, commercial opportunity and brand strategy.
  • Support product and shade naming, claims development and product storytelling from early product development stages.

  • Own product and launch messaging hierarchies, including propositions, USPs, benefits, reasons to believe, proof points and claims.
  • Lead development and refinement of customer-first copy for product positioning, product communications, descriptions, packaging and key selling messages, using brand guidelines, tone-of-voice resources and AI tools where appropriate.
  • Create processes that improve the quality and speed of product marketing decisions.
  • Work with Regulatory and Product Development to define claims strategy, identify testing requirements, and ensure claims are compelling, substantiated and compliant.
  • Build a consumer validation process across concepts, propositions, claims, naming and packaging, using relevant qualitative and quantitative insight.
  • Review packaging artwork and product materials for accuracy, consistency and effectiveness before final approval, balancing consumer clarity, brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, space constraints and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor competitor activity, category trends and emerging consumer needs to identify differentiation opportunities and strengthen consumer understanding of the portfolio.
  • Lead community testing and insight groups for product concepts, propositions, naming, messaging, claims and product storytelling.
  • Use customer and community insight to validate positioning and messaging, identify purchase barriers and refine communications before launch.
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into recommendations for product development, portfolio decisions, positioning and ongoing product optimisation, and work with teams to embed learnings.
  • Lead Product Overview presentations and support retailer presentations, clearly communicating product propositions, benefits and USPs.
  • Connect Product and Brand Marketing by translating product strategy and innovation into integrated campaign storytelling aligned with the wider brand narrative.
  • Review post-launch performance and positioning resonance, using insights to optimise existing products and inform future product development.
  • Build working relationships across Product Development, Innovation, Brand, Marketing, Creative, Design, Regulatory, Commercial, Retail and Training to align on product positioning, messaging, claims, packaging and launch requirements.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in product information, positioning, messaging or cross-functional dependencies that could affect campaigns, launch readiness or customer understanding.
  • Manage product marketing timelines and dependencies, identify risks early and drive decisions to keep projects moving and launches on track.
  • Support sustainable business practices by minimising waste, promoting responsible sourcing and reducing environmental impact.
  • Foster a diverse, inclusive and ethical workplace and contribute to internal and external community initiatives.
  • Uphold integrity, transparency and accountability in business practices.
