About The Position

Blee is an AI-first marketing content compliance platform trusted by companies like PayPal, NerdWallet, Brex, and Hims & Hers. We are YC-backed and founded by experienced professionals from Adobe and the legal field. We are defining a new category in marketing compliance across various industries including Fintech, Financial Services, CPG, Travel, and Life Sciences. We value in-person work but offer remote opportunities for the right candidates. Our team culture emphasizes clarity, ownership, and shared responsibility, with a focus on building impactful solutions. This is a critical role as we are hiring our first product marketer to shape and own how our category is understood by buyers and the market. You will be the second marketer on the team, working directly with the Head of Marketing, and will have significant ownership in developing industry-specific messaging and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Five-plus years in B2B product marketing
  • At least one tour at an early-stage company where you built from scratch rather than inheriting a playbook
  • Experience selling to technical or regulated buyers before—legal, compliance, security, finance, infosec, or similar
  • Understanding of situations where the buyer and the user are different people with different incentives
  • Excellent writing skills, with opinions about language
  • Ability to differentiate between a real insight and a reframed feature
  • Allergic to templated SaaS messaging and lazy positioning
  • Comfortable being the PMM voice in rooms with product, sales, and customer success
  • Comfortable being wrong out loud when someone has a better idea

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and positioning across our core industries—financial services first, then healthcare, beauty, and beyond
  • Build the ICP and persona work for our split buyer/user dynamic (legal and compliance buy; marketing uses)
  • Create the sales enablement foundation from scratch—decks, narratives, one-pagers, objection handling, competitive positioning
  • Run a customer insight engine—regular conversations with customers and prospects that feed messaging, content, and product
  • Lead go-to-market for new product and feature launches as they come
  • Partner with content, social, events, and web to keep the story consistent everywhere it shows up
