This is a high-ownership, high-visibility individual contributor role with a direct impact on revenue.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions marketing within the enterprise infrastructure, cloud-native, or DevOps space.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster lifecycle management, container runtimes, image registries, Helm, operators, and multi-cluster topologies.
  • A strong portfolio of published work (blog posts, white papers, solution briefs, battlecards, sales decks) demonstrating writing quality, technical accuracy, and narrative clarity.
  • Proven experience building and delivering sales enablement programs, including training and iteration based on field feedback.
  • Solid competitive analysis skills with experience profiling platforms like Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, Rancher/SUSE, or similar.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills across various formats and audiences.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, distributed environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with OpenStack, virtualization-on-Kubernetes, or bare-metal infrastructure.
  • Experience with container runtimes or image registry concepts.
  • Exposure to enterprise sales cycles and the dynamics of selling infrastructure software to large organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain audience-specific messaging frameworks for MKE, MOSK, MCR, MSR, and k0rdent AI Enterprise Edition, covering technical narratives for practitioners and value propositions for C-suite executives.
  • Articulate Mirantis' open, vendor-neutral philosophy as a differentiator against competitors like Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, Rancher/SUSE, and hyperscaler cloud-native offerings.
  • Map messaging to buyer personas, including platform engineers, infrastructure architects, DevOps leads, and IT decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain a library of field-ready assets such as pitch decks, deep dive decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, competitive one-pagers, ROI frameworks, and conversation guides.
  • Conduct regular sales enablement sessions to train the sales team on new messaging, competitive developments, and product launches.
  • Partner with pre-sales and solution architects to gather field insights and refine positioning.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of high-quality content, including solution briefs, white papers, technical blog posts, case studies, reference architectures, demo scripts, and competitive comparisons.
  • Produce content that resonates across the sales funnel and is engaging for practitioners.
  • Translate complex Kubernetes, container runtime, and virtualization capabilities into clear, understandable narratives.
  • Track competitors in the enterprise container, virtualization, and cloud-native platform space, including Red Hat, VMware/Broadcom, Rancher/SUSE, and Canonical.
  • Produce timely battlecards, win/loss analyses, and competitive updates to support the sales team.
  • Own go-to-market planning for product releases, including launch kits, internal training, external announcements, and coordinated campaign assets.
  • Collaborate with demand generation on assets for key personas, such as webinar content, landing pages, emails, and nurture materials.
  • Monitor trends in enterprise Kubernetes, container security, cloud-native virtualization, and open-source infrastructure to inform GTM strategy.
