About the position

The job overview for this position is that the product marketing manager (PMM) at Coactive is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy. They will create and implement marketing programs to build market awareness, communicate Coactive's value proposition, and drive qualified prospects for customer growth. The PMM will also work to position Coactive as a market leader by developing a clear corporate identity, creating effective content, and promoting customer successes and thought leadership. Additionally, the PMM will analyze the competitive landscape and target market needs to tailor messaging and optimize marketing investments.

Responsibilities

  • Design multi-channel marketing strategy that positions Coactive most effectively to the target market, building awareness, driving new sales leads, and supporting closing deals.
  • Execute a mix of go-to-market and ongoing marketing programs supporting the strategy.
  • Solicit feedback on strategy and programs with internal stakeholders and external experts to improve plan, gain buy-in and alignment to program goals.
  • Gain media and event placement for Coactive leadership and Coactive customers.
  • Develop and implement SEO and paid search strategies as appropriate, including test and learn for effectiveness to drive both organic search rankings and assess the ROI on paid search investments.
  • Develop and manage relationships with PR and marketing agencies, web development resources to execute timely marketing programs with high quality, fresh content.
  • Develop/evolve brand identity, standards; ensure adoption across organization and collateral.
  • Provide ongoing review, guidance, and assistance on content visual appearance and effectiveness of market facing materials.
  • Deeply understand customer businesses & customer problems in target vertical; including stakeholders with roles in the awareness/discovery, evaluation, selection, and procurement phases.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
    • Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline is ideal
    • Experience in marketing strategy and program execution
    • Ability to design and execute go-to-market and ongoing marketing programs
    • Knowledge of SEO and paid search strategies
    • Experience in gaining media and event placement
    • Ability to develop and manage relationships with PR and marketing agencies
    • Strong understanding of brand identity and ability to ensure adoption across the organization
    • Deep understanding of customer businesses and problems in target vertical
    • Ability to establish a product messaging framework that effectively communicates value proposition and differentiation
    • Proficiency in designing and delivering multi-channel collateral
    • Experience in developing content for speaking engagements
    • Knowledge of content production processes and resourcing
    • Ability to measure and improve the effectiveness of marketing strategy
    • Strong analytical skills to understand sources of leads and identify successful channels
