Product Marketing Lead: Temp Maternity Leave Coverage

Faire•San Francisco, CA
•$180,000 - $247,500•Hybrid

About The Position

Faire is hiring a senior product marketer for temporary maternity leave coverage. Product Marketing is a strategic function embedded across the product lifecycle, partnering with Product, Design, Marketing, and Revenue to shape programs, develop positioning and messaging, lead go-to-market strategy, and drive awareness and adoption across Faire’s marketplace. The role may focus on either brands selling on Faire or retailers buying from them, and its scope may shift as business needs change. The Product Marketing Lead owns the marketing strategy for a product area, identifies opportunities, sets direction, and leads work from concept through implementation. This includes end-to-end GTM strategy, positioning and narrative development, customer research, launch and adoption programs, cross-functional enablement, measurement, and influencing product roadmaps. The role requires balancing strategic leadership with fast execution, communicating with executive stakeholders, and documenting work so the team can carry it forward after the engagement. The position is hybrid. Faire employees currently work from the office three days per week—Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one flex day on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday—and hybrid employees may work remotely up to four weeks per year. The San Francisco salary range is $180,000 to $247,500 per year. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.

  • Experience setting measurable GTM goals, designing incrementality and A/B testing with analytics partners, building business cases and ROI, and using business metrics.
  • Bias toward action and fast iteration, including shipping to learn, setting and meeting deadlines, and adapting to new information.
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps and program design upstream of launch.
  • Ability to communicate with and align senior stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Experience conducting or directing customer research and translating findings into positioning and strategy.
  • Experience building thematic campaigns across product areas, rather than only siloed launches.

  • Experience marketing complex or highly technical products where customer trust and education are central to adoption.
