About The Position

Bolo AI is building the AI company for heavy industry, focusing on sectors like energy, utilities, manufacturing, and industrial operations. These sectors have been underserved by modern software and AI, and Bolo AI aims to change this with AI built for their operational reality. Customers are already using Bolo AI to detect equipment failures, identify cost impacts, automate workflows, and leverage industrial data. Backed by prominent venture capital firms, Bolo AI is a small, AI-native team dedicated to improving the daily work in these industries. The company is hiring a founding product marketer to establish its market presence by translating customer traction, product depth, and company vision into market impact. This role involves owning positioning, messaging, sales enablement, customer proof, and content, starting as a solo contributor with agency support. It's an opportunity to build a marketing function from the ground up in a large, underserved market ripe for AI solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the Palo Alto office, with some minimal travel expected. The role emphasizes direct customer engagement through sales calls and conversations to deeply understand the customer's world.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on product marketing, preferably at a high-growth startup.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong sense of what differentiates great marketing.
  • Proven track record of shipping end-to-end initiatives, taking campaigns, launches, or content programs from concept to measurable results.
  • Fluency with AI tools in daily marketing practices, with examples of work built and scaled using them.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a preference for building playbooks rather than inheriting them.
  • Ambition to grow into product marketing leadership as the company scales.

Nice To Haves

  • Energy or industrial experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Own Bolo's positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across website, sales materials, and customer touchpoints.
  • Partner with sales to build enablement materials that drive deals forward, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and competitive analyses.
  • Translate new product capabilities into clear, compelling launches and communications, collaborating with product and engineering teams.
  • Develop customer deployments into credible proof points and case studies for a technical industrial audience.
  • Maintain a consistent content rhythm across the website, LinkedIn, and email.
  • Manage agency and freelance partners, including the events agency, to ensure high quality and a unified message.
  • Integrate AI into all marketing workflows to maximize individual output.
