About The Position

EECO is an expert in industrial automation and electric motor solutions, and a full line electrical distributor. EECO provides onsite assessments, performance evaluation, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization to OEM and Industrial customers. We are seeking a product manager to assist in our sales efforts to expand Allen Bradley offerings throughout our Virginia-West locations (Lynchburg, Roanoke, Harrisonburg & Winchester). This role is technical and customer facing focused. To support sales growth, leads pre-sale and post sales discussions to include Component drives, Architecture drives, and engineered Packaged drives. This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and EECO for the drives product line. Provides technical, application, and industry training/updates to distributor account managers and customers for core products. Works directly with customers on pre-sale and post-sale engagements. Travel to customers within assigned geography will be required. Requirements

  • 2-year technical degree –OR– equivalent combination of skills, experience or education
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Allen Bradley preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Willing to continuously learn and improve technical competency
  • Ability to speak with customers, demonstrating technical expertise while instilling confidence and credibility

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and Medium Voltage (MV) applications is preferred

Responsibilities

  • This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and EECO for the drives product line.
  • Provides technical, application, and industry training/updates to distributor account managers and customers for core products.
  • Works directly with customers on pre-sale and post-sale engagements
  • Travel to customers within assigned geography will be required
  • Defines product configurations based on customer specifications
