About The Position

ReFiBuy is seeking a Product Manager with deep retail domain knowledge and a strong curiosity for AI. This role is evolving beyond traditional product management tasks like writing tickets and managing backlogs. The Product Manager will be instrumental in shaping how AI agents can accelerate product development. The position focuses on product challenges related to how brands and retailers manage, structure, and distribute product data across major retail relationships. The ideal candidate will understand the practical challenges of catalog operations and envision how AI can provide solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management with experience shipping products in B2B ecommerce, retail tech, or commerce platform environments.
  • Deep, hands-on familiarity with how brands and retailers manage product catalogs across major retail relationships, including setup, attribution, and content compliance for 1P partnerships.
  • Experience working closely with teams managing large, complex product catalogs.
  • Understanding of SKU-level data quality problems and their downstream consequences.
  • Genuine AI curiosity, with active experimentation with AI tools and an understanding of how they impact the PM role.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment where the roadmap is driven by evidence and judgment.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to make complex requirements readable and product decisions defensible.
  • Permanent work authorization in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PIM systems, MDM Platforms, or product data syndication tools.
  • Prior experience at a marketplace, retailer, or commerce platform.
  • Familiarity with AI product development (foundational knowledge is a plus, as the company will provide support for building this).
  • Comfort working directly with data, APIs, or lightweight tooling to explore problems firsthand.

Responsibilities

  • Own product areas at the intersection of catalog quality, retailer requirements, and AI-driven automation.
  • Translate complex retailer and brand workflows into product decisions, identifying and addressing friction points.
  • Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to design workflows that reduce manual overhead in catalog operations.
  • Engage with customers to understand their product data operation challenges and integrate these insights into the product.
  • Actively use AI tools in personal workflows for prototyping, research, and analysis.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from strategy to execution, including writing briefs, reviewing builds, and validating output.
