About The Position

Supa Health is building an AI-powered operating system to automate the administrative tasks in healthcare, such as eligibility verification, prior authorizations, claims processing, and denial management. The goal is to eliminate the manual work currently done by clinic staff, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. The company has received $5M in funding from Peak XV (formerly Sequoia India) and is looking for its founding product engineer to help shape the future of their product function.

Requirements

  • Customer obsession: deep understanding of customer workflows and pain points.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear writing and effective meeting facilitation.
  • Project ownership: ability to manage work from ideation to adoption.
  • Strategic thinking and direction setting.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, making quick decisions and deleting unnecessary work.
  • Range: willingness to perform various tasks including customer success, scoping, and writing documentation.
  • Technical literacy: ability to understand technical concepts related to agents, LLMs, and systems to effectively scope and push back on technical decisions.
  • 8+ years in product management with experience owning a product end-to-end.
  • Experience working closely with customers and writing PRDs that engineers appreciate.
  • Experience with a product going from zero to a real product.
  • Early-stage startup experience, comfortable being the only PM and handling multiple roles.
  • Experience with agentic AI/LLM products, understanding how to design for systems that make decisions and learn over time.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or vertical SaaS.
  • Experience shipping product where the system makes decisions, gets things wrong, and has to earn trust over time.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire product function, setting the direction for product development and decision-making processes.
  • Manage customer relationships, understanding their needs, challenges, and future requirements.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify pain points and incorporate learnings into the product roadmap.
  • Define product strategy, write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and make scope decisions.
  • Manage project execution, including scoping, setting milestones, and overseeing releases.
  • Design and execute onboarding and rollout plans for new clinics and features.
  • Close the feedback loop between customer input, operational pain points, and product development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, operations, and engineering.
