About The Position

ABI is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Manager to be the point person for overseeing the successful delivery of software solutions. This role bridges business needs, customer insights, and technical implementation, collaborating with engineering, customer success, and product teams to drive continuous product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. The initial 30-90 days will focus on product training, self-study, and internal shadowing to build industry expertise, culminating in knowledge evaluations. The Product Manager will report to the Product Director.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with ABI MasterMind (R) or similar workforce management, HR, ERP, or accounting solutions required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology certification
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Figma, Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), Microsoft Office, Google Suite
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • MUST LIVE WITHIN a 30-mile radius Sacramento

  • Experience working with engineering teams on software development
  • 5+ years in business analysis or product management

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, industry, and customer needs
  • Gather and organize insights from users and stakeholders to influence product decisions
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance usability and customer satisfaction
  • Assist in prioritizing and refining product backlog
  • Work with stakeholders to define business problems and solutions
  • Translate product needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and workflows
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and engineering
  • Support engineering, QA, and customer support in the development, testing, and deployment
  • Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria throughout the development cycle
  • Document and track reported issues for timely resolution
  • Review and test early-stage deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Coordinate testing and feedback with internal and external stakeholders

Benefits

  • Starting salary- $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid work schedule; approx. 3 days remote, and 2 days in office after initial training period
