About The Position

Leads the strategy, lifecycle management, and market performance of assigned building materials product categories including tile, ceramics, natural stone, flooring, and appliances. Drives assortment planning, pricing, positioning, vendor alignment, and new product launches by partnering with sourcing, sales, operations, marketing, and merchandising teams to grow revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, supply chain, construction management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management, category management, merchandising, or marketing experience, preferably within tile, ceramics, natural stone, flooring, appliances, or building materials.
  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, pricing, vendor management, market analysis and go-to-market planning.
  • Experience working cross functionally with sourcing, sales, operations, and marketing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with product specifications, channel dynamics, inventory management, and industry trends.
  • Relevant product management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes category strategies and product roadmaps for tile, ceramics, stone, flooring, appliances, and related building materials.
  • Conducts market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and product gaps.
  • Partners with suppliers and internal sourcing teams on product selection, cost management, specifications, packaging, and lifecycle decisions.
  • Oversees new product introductions, including business cases, pricing strategy, positioning, launch readiness, merchandising support, and training materials.
  • Collaborates with sales, marketing, operations, inventory planning, and customer service to ensure product availability, strong sell-through, and consistent customer experience.
  • Monitors category KPIs such as sales, gross margin, inventory turns, product mix, and launch performance, and adjusts strategies to improve results.
  • Ensures products meet quality, compliance, and market requirements and supports issue resolution for product performance, claims, or customer feedback.
