RiverStone Group has recently acquired Top Block & Brick and is looking for additional team members to grow in to the future! We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our operations and drive sustainable growth. This pivotal leadership role involves full oversight of daily business operations, including sales, warehouse shipping and receiving, and customer deliveries. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills and proven people management expertise, with a strong focus on strategic leadership and the development of a high-performing sales team. You will play a key role in building and nurturing strategic relationships with major customers and product vendors, while ensuring every interaction delivers a consistently positive and professional customer experience. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the construction materials-related sales field.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience or leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop the company’s Sales Team members.
  • Strong analytical skills: experience with or willingness to learn Bistrack software.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Motivated, team-oriented, and goal-driven individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of safety by strictly following and promoting all company safety procedures and upholding the highest safety standards at all times.
  • Drive sales performance by establishing clear KPIs for sales representatives and managers, then conducting regular reviews focused on revenue growth, market share, bid-win rates, and forecast accuracy.
  • Protect and maximize profitability by closely monitoring pricing exceptions and proactively reducing discretionary discounting.
  • Build strong relationships through exceptional communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration with management, team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Fuel business growth by proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities while equipping the sales team with deep insights on products, applications, market trends, customers, and competitors.
  • Represent the company in a positive manner, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism and integrity in every interaction.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment by bringing strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with confidence.
