About The Position

As a Product Manager on Deploy’s Deploy Models team, you will work cross-functionally to define product requirements and oversee implementation, leading development efforts across Machine Learning, Core Infrastructure, and Product teams. The role is focused on Deploy’s cloud-hosted deep learning models and the company’s growth, serving as a key reference for existing clients while delivering innovative capabilities. You will own the Deploy Models portfolio and roadmap, understand customer and product-team needs, and guide the creation and continuous improvement of deep learning models that interpret video, images, audio, and text. You will coordinate product execution from inception through delivery, communicate product benefits to users and internal stakeholders, and work with executives to set priorities and define features. The role also involves improving delivery practices, monitoring engineering velocity, and following information security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
Hands-on experience with modern machine learning libraries, frameworks, and technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Working knowledge of functional programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
2–3 years of combined Machine Learning and Product Management experience.
Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, frequently uncertain, and sometimes chaotic environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and hands-on.
Experience leading a team and effectively implementing team goals and deadlines.
Commitment to continuous product improvement beyond shipping new products.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap, functional requirements, and development timeline for Deploy Models.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs across various industries.
Oversee product execution from inception to delivery.
Help engineering and product teams estimate and break complex projects into manageable parts, establish delivery plans, and track progress.
Own the Deploy Models portfolio, understand product development teams’ needs, and envision and execute deep learning models that interpret video, images, audio, and text.
Clearly communicate product benefits to users and internal stakeholders.
Work with the executive team to determine priorities, define new features, and improve models continuously.
Measure engineering velocity and identify and establish best practices to improve the speed and security of project delivery.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance and handling related to the role.
Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
Report actual or suspected security or policy violations or breaches to an appropriate authority.
