About The Position

Elorian AI is hiring its founding Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution across the full lifecycle of its multimodal AI models and platform. Based in the Palo Alto office, this role owns the existing public API, the release strategy and developer experience for upcoming frontier foundation models, and strategic decisions about the balance between a horizontal developer platform and vertical applications. The PM will connect research, engineering, and go-to-market teams; translate research breakthroughs into scalable products; and drive enterprise adoption, monetization, and iterative model improvement. The role includes setting pre-training and fine-tuning priorities from a product perspective, aligning engineering work and compute resources with customer demand, and shaping an end-to-end developer experience. It also involves building evaluation and feedback systems that turn real-world usage into model-quality gains, and making tradeoffs among model intelligence, latency, serving costs, and safety.

Requirements

At least 5 years of product management experience.
Proven track record owning machine-learning products or model development lifecycles from concept to launch.
Demonstrated ability to operate as a sole or founding PM, navigate ambiguity, establish product workflows, and drive execution with research scientists and core engineers.
Strong technical and analytical mindset, including hands-on experience with model evaluation design, benchmark creation, data flywheels, and performance metrics.
Ability to make fast, sound prioritization decisions balancing model quality, inference speed, compute costs, and safety.
Ability to earn technical trust with research and engineering teams and translate complex model capabilities into product priorities and executable roadmaps.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with multimodal models, frontier AI research, generative architectures, or large-scale foundation model development.
Experience as a founding product manager, founding team member, or early employee at a fast-growing startup, or as lead PM on a 0-to-1 incubation team.
Experience building APIs, SDKs, model-serving infrastructure, or developer platforms.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including optimization of the public API and the release strategy and developer experience for upcoming frontier foundation models.
Evaluate and prioritize strategic business bets, balancing a broad developer platform against high-impact vertical applications.
Set pre-training and fine-tuning priorities from a product perspective and drive alignment, evaluation, and iterative deployment.
Connect commercial teams with research scientists and infrastructure engineers.
Translate multimodal research capabilities into scalable developer primitives and production features.
Align engineering sprint priorities and compute resources with enterprise customer demand and adoption signals.
Partner with go-to-market leadership to capture customer pain points, workflow bottlenecks, and enterprise feedback.
Turn market signals into product features, tiered enterprise offerings, and monetization mechanisms.
Join customer conversations to discover use cases, prototype solutions, and establish repeatable enterprise playbooks.
Shape the end-to-end developer journey and product experience beyond the API.
Partner with research to build automated data flywheels and closed-loop feedback systems that turn usage and edge cases into benchmark gains.
Make tradeoffs among model intelligence, inference latency, serving cost, and safety.
