Business Analyst, Deploy Models
About The Position
As a Business Analyst on the Deploy Models team, you will work closely with Machine Learning, Product, and Business Development teams to support successful client deployments. This role combines product configuration, project management, and client success, and requires technical competence as well as client management abilities. You will be the point person for major client engagements and take on a range of responsibilities to ensure successful integrations. Deploy is an intelligence infrastructure platform that provides developers and enterprises access to open-source and proprietary AI models. Its solutions support high-performance AI model inference at production scale. The company has more than 250 employees across offices in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Delhi.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, such as Engineering or Mathematics.
- 1–3 years of work experience in a Product Management or Engineering role at a technology or technology consulting company.
- Working knowledge of functional programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
- Experience in an interdisciplinary or cross-functional field.
- Distinctive problem-solving skills and strong business judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in enterprise technology, SaaS, client-facing work, or a start-up.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful technical deployments.
- Write scripts to analyze the technical performance of production machine learning models.
- Analyze customer submissions, data, and results to understand desired changes to machine learning models.
- Generate APIs for customers by ensuring the accuracy of technical configurations of machine learning models.
- Collaborate with the product team and other stakeholders to meet customer needs, including resolving technical issues users encounter when accessing machine learning models.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on other technical aspects of customer product deployment as needed.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance and handling as relevant to the role.
- Adhere to policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
- Report actual or suspected security and policy violations or breaches to an appropriate authority.
