About The Position

As an Associate Product Manager on Deploy's Deploy Models team, you will work cross-functionally to help define product requirements and support implementation, collaborating with Machine Learning, Core Infrastructure, and Product teams. You will contribute to the cloud-hosted deep learning models at the core of Deploy's business, supporting the company's growth and building a foundation for future product ownership. The role involves helping create models that interpret video, images, audio, and text, and contributing to product capabilities and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
Some hands-on exposure to modern machine learning libraries, frameworks, and technologies through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Working knowledge of functional programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
0–2 years of combined Machine Learning and Product Management experience.
Comfort working in an environment that is constantly changing, frequently uncertain, and at times chaotic.
Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and hands-on approach.
Eagerness to grow into a leadership role, with an interest in eventually owning team goals and deadlines.
Commitment to continuous product improvement beyond shipping new products.

Responsibilities

Support the roadmap, functional requirements, and development timeline for Deploy Models under the guidance of senior product managers and leadership.
Develop an understanding of customer needs across various industries.
Assist with product execution from inception to delivery.
Help engineering and product teams break projects into manageable parts and track progress against delivery plans.
Learn the needs of product development teams and contribute to creating deep learning models that interpret video, images, audio, and text.
Help communicate product benefits to users and internal stakeholders.
Work with senior product and engineering stakeholders to help define new features and improve models.
Help track engineering velocity and identify best practices to improve delivery speed and security.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance and handling related to the role.
Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
Report actual or suspected security or policy violations or breaches to an appropriate authority.
