About The Position

As a Product Manager on Stripe’s Radar team, you will work directly with customers to understand emerging fraud and abuse attacks, identify the most important problems to solve, and turn those insights into product strategy and a roadmap. You will work across customers, engineering, data science, design, and commercial teams to shape products and bring them to market. The role spans Radar’s fraud and abuse detection and control capabilities as well as the user and developer experiences that make those capabilities accessible to customers. You will need to respond quickly as threats evolve while maintaining reliability, product craft, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Highly analytical, with a rigorous approach to quantitative and qualitative evidence; comfortable analyzing data, writing SQL when needed, and defining metrics that connect product decisions to user outcomes.
  • Resourceful, with experience taking products from zero to one, testing ideas quickly, learning from real users, and scaling early solutions.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, including understanding how customer problems translate into willingness to pay, adoption, and durable business value.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership, including partnering with B2B sales teams on customer discovery, product positioning, and adoption.
  • Experience shipping Dashboard and API products, with empathy for end users and developers and an understanding of their different workflows.
  • Comfort working with substantial ambiguity, setting direction with incomplete information, making thoughtful trade-offs, and adapting as new evidence emerges.
  • Technical fluency to work deeply with engineering and data teams on complex systems, understand constraints, and evaluate alternative approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex customer problems into precise, actionable framing.
  • Ownership mindset and high bar for product quality, with care for solving user problems and the details of the experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building fraud prevention, risk, security, or machine-learning-powered products.
  • Experience developing machine-learning-powered products and evaluating trade-offs between detection effectiveness and customer friction.
  • Experience building tools for fraud analysts or risk teams, or developer products that support real-time decisions.
  • Software engineering, data science, or similar technical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the fraud and abuse landscape.
  • Investigate emerging attacks with customers, assess their financial and operational impact, and distinguish isolated incidents from opportunities to build broadly useful defenses.
  • Translate findings into product strategy and a roadmap, prioritizing defenses with the greatest customer and business impact.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and design to explore signals, shape solutions, and rapidly turn effective defenses into scalable, reliable products.
  • Set the pace for the team by scoping the product thoughtfully, prioritizing ruthlessly, and executing with high rigor.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to validate demand, coordinate launches, and help customers adopt new capabilities and maximize their value.
  • Own product performance, user experience, and business metrics to guide iteration and communicate progress.
