To support Zepz growth strategy and drive maximum impact we are looking for support to drive forward key FinCrime product management strategy and deliveries in the fraud prevention, scams, and payment risk. This will involve applying a cohesive approach to solve different groups of customer needs and ensure a compliant, effective, and efficient set-up and best-in-class customer experience across the platform in a scalable and streamlined manner. We are looking for a professional that’s comfortable driving change in a dynamic environment across various levels of senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an individual with previous experience in delivering complex digital initiatives that span multiple departments. You will be comfortable owning the full digital product life cycle and have a natural drive to deliver exceptional end-to-end experiences. The successful applicant will likely also have previous experience in core fraud-prevention functions, including advanced analytics, reporting, and financial modelling; machine learning and AI; and vendor management. The role is heavily data driven and hands on; and requires someone analytical and hands-on to drive the strategy. Experience implementing stablecoin, working with on-chain analysis vendors, and experience working with AI vendors to optimise processes is also hugely desirable.

Requirements

  • Experienced Product Manager in the digital Financial-Crime Prevention space
  • Strong knowledge in the Finance/FinTech and FinCrime space
  • Creative thinker, problem-solver, strong communicator across various levels of stakeholders, driven and thriving when taking full ownership for your product area
  • Data driven and comfortable working with models, ideally with experience in prediction of fraud, risk modelling, and financial modelling
  • Hands-on, enjoy working in a dynamic environment and a natural self-starter
  • Demonstrate ownership of the product, own the end-to-end process including communication, training, release plan, and continuously improve the product
  • Build strong relationships with your development team, work according to good Agile practices and collaborate effectively with product design.
  • Natural leader. Lead initiatives from ideas to delivery. Help the team deliver with an MVP mindset, but still build towards and share longer term visions.
  • Good understanding of relevant technology, how it applies to our business. Use this information when making trade-off and priority decisions.
  • Strong experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proven track record of being a great communicator, working with different stakeholders from across the business.
  • Not afraid of taking on ambiguous initiatives and turning them into a set of clear goals and tangible outcomes
  • Knowledgeable about Agile / Lean software delivery methodologies and deliverables throughout the product life cycle
  • Experience in gathering functional and nonfunctional requirements, writing user stories and mapping out processes
  • Team player with the commercial mindset to drive tech work for highest business impact
  • Good technical and business understanding based on previous experience in financial services/compliance
  • A strong understanding of current regulations and best practices in fraud prevention and card-payment and bank-transfer arrangements, including ACH
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and how it can be applied in your area of work, from accelerating analysis and insight generation, to improving how we design and deliver processes and communications.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context, whether to connect information, draft content, build frameworks, or create insights from data.
  • Strong AI literacy. An understanding of what AI assistants can and cannot do, how to prompt effectively, and how to critically evaluate AI-generated output before using it.
  • Awareness of the ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace, particularly in the context of sensitive data, customer experience, and compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in stablecoin and AI is desirable
  • Experience implementing stablecoin, working with on-chain analysis vendors, and experience working with AI vendors to optimise processes is also hugely desirable.
  • Prior experience using Claude (Anthropic) is a nice-to-have but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships to gather needs across multiple countries.
  • Help shape the strategy across the FinCrime (Financial-Crime Prevention) domain across both ZEPZ remittance brands supporting fraud prevention, payments risk, vendor roadmap, cryptocurrency-product roadmap (specifically the FinCrime elements).
  • Manage vendor relationships and integrations for telemetric and consortium data, workflow management, and more.
  • Scope, plan, and deliver global feature rollouts in the domain.
  • Develop a clear and coherent product strategy within your area that aligns with the company's vision.
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering business and user value.
  • Play a crucial role in supporting the growth and scalability of the business.
  • Take ownership and drive the metrics within your area, helping define success and the path to achieve it.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders (and in particular Compliance, Finance, and other Product teams) throughout the organization to deeply understand problems, identify opportunities, and explore potential solutions.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders, knowing when to listen and when to deliver challenging messages.
  • Monitor market trends, regulations, card-network rules, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to drive product decisions and features.
  • Manage the integration work with technology partners (workflows, APIs, error scenarios and management) from ideation to delivery on production and beyond.
