About The Position

We are seeking a Product Manager with deep retail domain knowledge and a genuine curiosity for AI. This role is not about managing a backlog or writing specs, but rather about actively shaping how AI agents can accelerate product development. The Product Manager will tackle product challenges related to how brands and retailers manage, structure, and distribute product data across major retail relationships. The ideal candidate understands the practical issues in catalog operations and sees the potential for AI to resolve these long-standing problems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, with significant experience shipping products in B2B ecommerce, retail tech, or commerce platform environments.
  • Deep, hands-on familiarity with how brands and retailers manage product catalogs across major retail relationships, including setup, attribution, and content compliance for 1P partnerships.
  • Experience working closely with teams managing large, complex product catalogs, understanding SKU-level data quality issues and their consequences.
  • Genuine AI curiosity, actively experimenting with AI tools and considering their impact on the PM role.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment where the roadmap is driven by evidence and judgment.
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of making complex requirements readable and product decisions defensible.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PIM systems, MDM Platforms, or product data syndication tools.
  • Prior experience at a marketplace, retailer, or commerce platform.
  • Familiarity with AI product development (foundational knowledge is acceptable, as training will be provided).
  • Comfort working directly with data, APIs, or lightweight tooling to explore problems firsthand.

Responsibilities

  • Own product areas at the intersection of catalog quality, retailer requirements, and AI-driven automation.
  • Translate complex retailer and brand workflows into product decisions, identifying and addressing friction points.
  • Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to design workflows that reduce manual overhead in catalog operations.
  • Partner with customers to understand their product data operation challenges and integrate these insights into the product.
  • Actively use AI tools in personal workflow for prototyping, research, and analysis, embracing new possibilities.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from strategy to execution, including writing briefs, reviewing builds, and validating output.

Benefits

  • Builder culture with fast iterations, small specs, daily deploys, and trunk-based development.
  • Emphasis on co-creation and fewer meetings.
  • Opportunity to work in an AI-native environment.
  • Potential for rapid learning and immediate impact.
