About The Position

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform used by businesses to accept payments, grow revenue, and pursue new business opportunities. Its mission is to increase the GDP of the internet.

The Product Manager will own the end-to-end product experience for Stripe Sandboxes and the broader testing platform. The role focuses on helping developers and AI agents build and test Stripe integrations safely in isolated environments, without affecting live accounts or moving real funds. The product journey spans first sandbox creation through validation of complex payment flows at scale, and has company-wide impact because it supports testing workflows across Stripe products.

Working closely with external developers and internal Stripe teams, the Product Manager will turn user feedback into intuitive developer experiences and platform capabilities. In partnership with engineering, design, and user research, they will deliver features that help developers build faster and with greater confidence, and shape the platform to support new use cases, agentic tooling, and new Stripe products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products that solve real user problems.
• Technical expertise gained through building and owning technical, developer-facing products or tools.
• Demonstrated ability to define strategy, set goals, and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous concepts clearly and from first principles.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.

Nice To Haves

• Enjoy using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback.
• Have founded a business or startup, taking a product from 0 to 1.
• Personally test-drive functionality before shipping it and make substantial edits to the documentation.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with users, Stripe developers, and internal product teams to validate product ideas, requirements, and prototypes.
• Partner with engineering and design to ship functionality that delights developers testing Stripe integrations, balances impact with engineering cost, and delivers measurable results.
• Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Stripe Sandboxes and the testing platform.
• Define key success metrics.
• Work closely with user researchers to test hypotheses and understand user pain points.
• Shape how testing and developer experiences adapt to agentic tooling.
• Deliver platform features that provide developers with the isolation, simulation, and observability needed to test integrations with confidence.
