About The Position

We deploy powerful AI agents in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building the systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely and reliably. Our belief is that people should be free of administrative and operational drudgery so they can create value through creativity, reasoning, and judgement. We’re starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses defined by heavy workflows across departments, such as admissions, financial aid, facilities, advising, student services, advancement, and more. Our agents are already embedded across these departments, interacting with millions of students and staff. They process applications, package aid, resolve verification issues, run large-scale communication workflows, handle student support tickets, and more. We believe that universities are among the most consequential institutions in the world, sitting at the foundation of social and economic progress. Improving how they operate improves who gets educated, who gets supported, and who gets a chance. When higher education runs better, everything built on top of it does too. Over the past few years, the capabilities of frontier models have moved at a staggering pace. But building AI products that institutions trust in production isn’t about model quality alone; it’s about the data foundation, infrastructure, tooling, and workflows that let universities configure, monitor, and improve their agents at scale. That’s the hard part, and it’s the part we own. As a Product Manager, you’ll own a major product area end-to-end; from discovery and scoping through launch and adoption. Depending on your strengths, that might mean the platform surfaces that power every agent (think the data foundation, agent-building and testing tooling, integrations, and governance), or the end-user product experiences that staff and students actually touch across enrollment, admissions, student success, and advancement. Either way, you’ll shape the product for some of the most influential institutions in higher education.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product experience shipping software, ideally including senior PM scope.
  • Exceptional communication—written above all. You write clearly and persuasively, and you’re an equally strong verbal communicator who can make complex ideas legible to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Strong product taste and design sensibility—a clear point of view on what makes an experience feel effortless, and the judgment to know what to build, what to cut, and what to sequence.
  • Technical fluency—comfortable discussing APIs, data models, and architecture with engineers, and reasoning about how AI systems behave in production.
  • A track record of owning ambiguous problems end-to-end and shipping impactful work in fast-moving environments.
  • A degree in a technical, design, or related field or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building with or for LLMs and AI agents (data pipelines, evals, agent tooling, retrieval, orchestration).
  • Background in enterprise or platform products—SDKs, APIs, integrations, admin/governance surfaces.
  • Some hands-on coding ability; you don’t need to ship production code, but being able to prototype and read it helps.
  • Design fluency or a design background; familiarity with tools like Figma, or experience owning the craft of an interface end-to-end.
  • Prior startup or high-growth experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex projects end-to-end in a fast-moving environment
  • Take ownership of a product area end-to-end. Set the roadmap for your surface and drive it from discovery through launch and adoption - whether that surface is core platform infrastructure or the experiences people use every day.
  • Build products people love to use
  • Sweat the details and bring a strong taste for what makes an experience feel effortless - whether you’re shaping an internal-facing tool or a student-facing flow.
  • Turn institutional complexity into clarity
  • University workflows are tangled and the data sits across many systems. You design the abstractions and flows that make that complexity disappear for the people on the other side of the screen.
  • Partner deeply with engineering, design, and forward-deployed engineers (FDEs)
  • Translate ambiguous problems into crisp specs, make sharp trade-offs, and ship. Our FDEs work hands-on inside customer deployments; you’ll partner closely with them, but this is a product role, not a forward-deployed one. Product is a team sport here.
  • Stay close to customers
  • Work directly with enrollment leaders, admissions teams, staff, and the students they serve to understand real workflows, then run tight feedback loops back into the roadmap.
  • Define what good looks like
  • Set the success metrics for your area and hold the bar on quality, reliability, and outcomes - not just shipped features.

Benefits

  • venture funding from dedicated investors such as Menlo Ventures (Anthropic, Carta), Silversmith Capital Partners (Webflow, Formstack), Morningside Technology Ventures (Xiaomi, TikTok), and more.
  • fully remote company (with a NYC office)
  • diverse cast of team members based predominantly in the United States, but also around the world.
