About The Position

We are seeking a Product Manager with experience in generic eCommerce/digital retail, specifically focusing on top-of-funnel commerce products like browse, search, and product pages. The ideal candidate will have a technical background enabling them to understand APIs, microservice contracts, data flows, and analytics tags. This role requires a strong understanding of agile digital operations, Azure/ADO toolset, basic financial analysis, and digital retail technologies. The Product Manager will own sub-product areas end-to-end.

Requirements

  • Generic eCommerce/digital retail experience (web, mobile app channels).
  • Specific experience with top-of-funnel commerce products (browse, search, product pages).
  • Technical background/proficiency:
  • Understanding APIs/microservice contracts.
  • Ability to inspect a page to determine data availability.
  • Understanding of data flow between systems and the processes involved.
  • Ability to visualize, understand, and describe data flows.
  • Ability to inspect a page to see what analytics tags are in place.
  • Understanding of agile digital operations, leveraging the Azure/ADO tool set.
  • Ability for basic financial analyses.
  • Understanding of digital retail technologies (search platforms, CMS, APIs, service layers, etc.).
  • Ability to own a sub-product area end to end (e.g., digital payments, product recommendations, account registration).

Responsibilities

  • Manage generic eCommerce/digital retail products across web and mobile app channels.
  • Focus on top-of-funnel commerce products including browse, search, and product pages.
  • Understand and work with APIs and microservice contracts.
  • Inspect pages to determine data availability and flow between systems.
  • Visualize, understand, and describe data flows, including backend batch jobs.
  • Inspect pages to identify analytics tags.
  • Operate within agile digital environments using Azure/ADO.
  • Perform basic financial analyses.
  • Understand digital retail technologies such as search platforms, CMS, APIs, and service layers.
  • Own sub-product areas end-to-end (e.g., digital payments, product recommendations, account registration).
