About The Position

Airbnb is hiring a Product Manager for Trips, the part of the guest journey where guests manage reservations, plan activities, coordinate with their group, and add experiences and services to their stay. The role will help expand Airbnb beyond stays by growing Trips from its early stages into a habit for millions of guests. The Product Manager will own the feature roadmap across much of the Trips program, make scope and prioritization decisions with design and engineering teams, and lead work from brief through launch and iteration. Success includes using experiments to guide product decisions, increasing the share of trips that include experiences and services, and explaining releases through clear product narratives for internal leadership and guests. The position collaborates with engineering, design, data science, program management, supply, partnerships, and operations. It is US remote eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed with the manager. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity and be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in product marketing or product management.
  • Track record of moving a core growth metric—such as conversion, attach, frequency, or revenue per customer—through features led to launch.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex launches on time and to a high quality bar, often with several features in flight.
  • Experience with two-sided marketplaces or multi-product platforms, balancing customer needs with the success of supply and partners.
  • Ability to define what experiments should learn, interpret growth metrics alongside guardrails such as satisfaction and retention, and turn results into product decisions.
  • Strong judgment about consumer product quality and what makes an experience useful and delightful.
  • Ability to earn the trust of engineering, design, and data science partners and lead without formal authority.
  • Clear, structured communication skills, including distilling complex tradeoffs for executives and translating strategy into actionable guidance for teams.
  • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours as needed.
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

  • Coordinate with supply, partnerships, and operations teams to ensure offerings are relevant, available, and easy to book.
  • Partner with data scientists and engineers on product experiments, synthesize results, and decide what to scale, iterate on, or stop.
  • Prioritize among guest experience, business impact, and engineering cost, while keeping partners aligned.
