About The Position

Men in Blazers is seeking a Director of Football Trips and Experiences to lead its football trips business from concept through launch and delivery. The role creates experiences combining live football, local culture, distinctive access, and the Men in Blazers community. The director owns the trip portfolio, customer proposition, pricing recommendations, budget, sales targets, and guest experience, working closely with a travel partner. The position calls for an entrepreneurial operator who has directly developed and sold travel or sports experience products, can make decisions with incomplete information, and takes responsibility for commercial results. Experience building a new offering within a media company, community brand, or growing travel business is particularly valuable. The director oversees strategy and launch, develops itineraries and a calendar of football travel experiences for U.S. fans, and refines offerings using market research and performance feedback. They manage commercial targets, budgets, forecasts, pricing, margins, operational go/no-go criteria, and expansion opportunities. They lead relationships with clubs, venues, suppliers, and operators; oversee guest communications and trip delivery, including disruption planning and on-site host support; and coordinate launch strategies with marketing, sales, content, and talent teams. They align annual plans and financial parameters with leadership while retaining autonomous decision-making authority. Success includes launching a viable portfolio on schedule, meeting booking, revenue, and profitability targets, and delivering guest satisfaction that supports repeat bookings and scalable operations. This is a remote role based in the United States. It requires international travel and selected evening and weekend work around trips and experiences, as well as managing geographically distributed teams and partners during non-traditional hours.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience developing, launching, and selling consumer travel products, hosted group trips, sports hospitality, and/or premium fan experiences.

  • Ability to manage multiple team members and partners across the country, particularly during evening and weekend hours.
  • Track record of owning commercial outcomes, including pricing, budgets, revenue, and contribution margin.
  • Practical experience with itineraries, ticket access, accommodation, transport, supplier relationships, and guest service.
  • Experience working with a third-party travel operator or specialist fulfillment partner.
  • Sound commercial judgment and ability to make tradeoffs, negotiate effectively, and act decisively.
  • Deep understanding of the American soccer community and what inspires its members to travel abroad.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex plans clearly to customers and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work selected evenings and weekends around trips and experiences.
