About The Position

Prep Network is seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to serve as a Football Showcase Director. This role involves the planning and execution of youth football tournaments and showcases nationwide. The Showcase Director will be the primary representative of Prep Network at events, ensuring a first-class experience for participants. This position requires leveraging provided tools and training to create an elite environment for players and teams.

Requirements

• Current or past basketball coach with a strong passion for the game.
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities.
• Experience in running events or camps with 50-300 participants and a team of coaches.
• Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience working with and managing groups of people of 10 or more.
• Proficient in working in Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all event set-up, check-in, and run of show.
• Managing all event staff.
• Working closely with event coaching staff to ensure the best experience for all in attendance.
• Collaborating with the event team at headquarters to organize all details and checklists for event preparation.
• Communicating with all event staff, including facility contacts, check-in workers, coaches, and officials assignors.
• Thinking on your feet and adjusting to situations that are both in and out of your control.
• Speaking in front of groups of 50-300 players/parents and delivering a motivational message.
