Job Summary : The Product Manager owns the day ‑ to ‑ day lifecycle of assigned product lines and ensures they deliver differentiated, quantifiable value to customers and the business. This role drives customer and market insights, competitive positioning, and cross ‑ functional execution to support growth, profitability, and strategic alignment. Operating within defined guardrails, the Product Manager provides data ‑ driven recommendations and supports governance processes that guide investment and portfolio decisions.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of progressive product management experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a complex matrix environment, successfully driving cross-functional alignment and measurable revenue/margin impact.
  • Proven ability to translate complex market insights and customer needs into actionable, profitable product strategies.
  • Strong commercialization experience, with a deep understanding of B2B pricing strategies and sales enablement.
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Occasional travel to customers, suppliers, or manufacturing sites

Responsibilities

  • Global Product & Portfolio Strategy Define and own product vision, roadmap, and investment priorities aligned with corporate growth strategy.
  • Lead portfolio optimization: investment, growth, or exit decisions based on market conditions.
  • Lead the annual product strategic planning process.
  • Track and monitor resource allocation and product ROI.
  • Customer & Market Leadership Represent the voice of the customer; understand needs and buying drivers by industry vertical.
  • Translate market insights into value propositions and product strategy.
  • Ensure products deliver differentiated, quantifiable customer value enabling premium positioning and pricing.
  • Coordinate industry strategies across Product Management to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution.
  • Consolidate and distribute competitive intelligence insights.
  • Lifecycle Management – New Product Governance Own product lifecycle end-to-end, from concept through launch and end of life.
  • Prioritize features and investment cost-to-value trade-offs in product design.
  • Coordinate engineering, operations, sales, and supply chain for on-time delivery, cost discipline, and quality.
  • Partner with Sales to transition product development specifications into successful commercialization.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure products are certified with appropriate boards across relevant geographies.
  • Lifecycle Management – Marketing & Commercial Enablement Educate Sales on products, applications, and value propositions to accelerate selling and cross-selling.
  • Ensure Product Managers engage technical procurement to secure product specifications across subsidiaries.
  • Lifecycle Management – Pricing & Value Capture Set pricing strategy and governance to protect margins and manage price changes .
  • Lifecycle Management – SKU Optimization and Lifecycle Identify and lead product-driven cost-down and standardization initiatives.
  • Identify and track line extensions vs SKU rationalization and product phase-out decisions.
  • Leadership, Talent Development & C ross-Functional C ollaboration Build a high-performing product management organization with clear accountability and strong business acumen.
  • Establish tools, processes, and metrics to drive execution and product performance.
  • Foster a data-driven, customer centric product environment Track execution of product decisions, surface risks, and escalate issues to meet commitments.
