About The Position

The (USA) Distinguished Product Manager leads enterprise-wide product strategy, shaping Walmart’s competitive positioning through innovative product vision and execution. This role oversees multiple complex product lines, integrating market trends, customer insights, and business objectives to drive mass adoption and value creation. The position requires guiding cross-functional teams, establishing governance frameworks, and influencing senior stakeholders to align on strategic priorities. The role also champions advanced analytics, emerging technologies, and responsible AI adoption, while fostering organizational capability and continuous improvement to ensure sustained business impact and excellence across the product portfolio. The Runtime Platform - Spectrum team manages critical platforms such as Experimentation, Pulse, RUM, Cloud Configuration Management, Secrets Management, and the Enterprise Feature Store. The team develops scalable, reliable, cloud-native systems that support intelligent automation and operational excellence. Collaborating across engineering groups, members deliver robust solutions, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards in design and execution. Emphasizing technical leadership, innovation, and mentorship, the team aligns efforts with enterprise goals to create strategic impact at scale while fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the enterprise feature set domain, with a proven track record of driving enterprise-wide product strategy and innovation.
  • Strong expertise in developing and executing product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex product lines by integrating customer insights, competitive analysis, and business strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
  • Experience creating go-to-market strategies that drive mass adoption and enterprise value creation.
  • Ability to establish governance frameworks and product lifecycle processes that ensure quality and compliance.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and optimize outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years’ experience in product management.
  • 13 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication and fact-based narratives to align on strategic priorities.
  • Mentor and develop product management talent, shaping best practices and organizational capability.
