About The Position

The Product Manager leads enterprise-wide product strategy, shaping organizational capabilities and advancing Walmart’s competitive positioning through innovative product leadership. This role oversees multiple complex product lines by integrating market trends, customer insights, and business strategies to drive mass adoption and value creation. Responsible for defining long-term vision, guiding product roadmaps, and establishing governance frameworks, the position influences cross-functional stakeholders and fosters data-driven decision-making. The role also champions emerging technologies and ethical standards while mentoring talent and enhancing product management practices across the organization. Our team leads the global development and management of measurement and planning products for Walmart Connect. We design solutions for campaign attribution, incrementality measurement, and media planning supporting Walmart Connect and Sam’s Club Connect advertisers worldwide. Utilizing expertise in applied economics, econometrics, and data analysis, the team delivers strategic insights that inform business decisions. Collaboration across functions ensures the creation of high-quality, data-driven products that enhance advertising effectiveness and support business growth on a global scale.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in digital product management with a proven ability to lead enterprise-wide product strategy and drive competitive positioning.
  • Strong expertise in developing and executing product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and strategic frameworks that enable mass adoption and value creation.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management, influencing senior leadership, and aligning cross-functional teams on complex product initiatives.
  • Proficiency in leveraging market research, customer insights, and business strategies to identify and prioritize unmet needs at scale.
  • Skilled in guiding product lifecycle governance, ensuring compliance, ethical standards, and continuous improvement of product management practices.
  • Ability to lead adoption of emerging technologies and data-driven decision-making to enhance product innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years’ experience in product management.
  • 13 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide product strategy by integrating market trends, competitive dynamics, and business objectives to drive innovation and value creation.
  • Own multiple complex product lines, developing strategic frameworks including Whole Product concepts and go-to-market approaches to maximize adoption.
  • Drive deep customer understanding through design thinking, journey mapping, and process optimization to identify and prioritize unmet needs.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including roadmap development, MVP rollout, and governance to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
  • Guide data-driven decision-making and adoption of emerging technologies, including responsible AI integration.
  • Influence senior stakeholders with fact-based narratives to align on complex product initiatives and organizational priorities.
