Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, Business Administration or a related field and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Requires 36 months of experience in the following: Product vision definition, product requirement documentation, and resource coordination across cross-functional teams, including design and legal
  • Large-scale data set analysis for data-driven decision-making
  • Technical presentation development and delivery
  • Requirement gathering and conversion into product design and development specifications
  • Analytical tools, methodologies, and system design for data analysis and product evaluation

Responsibilities

  • Work with XR Tech and Wearables to explore and define the role location places across devices and use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish success metrics, use cases, and POEs for location-based products.
  • Work within XR Tech and Overture to align on northstar goals for Map Tools to drive improvements in Map Data that are needed for Meta use cases.
  • Partner with engineering, program, and other product leads to define and execute on a strategy for VPS technologies, ensuring they add value to current and future use cases.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools and related growth initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Raise awareness and drive adoption of open map data by supporting community outreach and events.
