Product Manager - Security Planning

Dell Technologies•Round Rock, TX

About The Position

The Product Manager owns security product management for Dell Server and rack-scale products across feature development, launch, in-market management, and end of security support. The role translates customer, business, regulatory, and threat-driven requirements into product priorities and lifecycle decisions. It drives delivery and launch readiness, go-to-market messaging, enhancements for shipping products, vulnerability response, customer escalations, and ongoing security support. The position collaborates across engineering, security, marketing, sales, support, program management, architecture, compliance, and external technology partners, and uses in-market insights to inform future product requirements and security planning. The role also owns the Secure Enterprise Key Manager (SEKM) offering across its lifecycle, including strategy, roadmap, delivery, go-to-market, adoption, and support. It partners with external key-management-system vendors and internal iDRAC engineering teams, defines requirements and interoperability expectations, coordinates releases and issue resolution, and develops positioning and enablement materials. For PowerEdge server BIOS, the role owns planning, development, launch, and in-market support. It tracks CPU technology roadmaps, identifies processor features for PowerEdge BIOS, clarifies product positioning, collaborates on customer-focused BIOS profiles and workload configurations, and develops performance recommendations, documentation, launch content, and field guidance. It incorporates customer feedback and balances security, performance, manageability, power, compatibility, cost, and time-to-market in long-range planning.
