As a Product Manager in the Customer Insights team within Payments Data & Analytics you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. The Product Manager will work on the Customer Insights team and partner closely with Payments Product, Analytics, Commercialization and Technology teams to deliver and enhance data-driven products that support Merchant Services and our clients. You will work on day-to-day product execution —prioritizing analytics use cases, managing ad-hoc projects, and ensuring stakeholders (internal and external) receive timely, actionable insights. Ideal candidates are also passionate about building and scaling our next generation of AI powered features and products, with a track record of driving adoption from concept through launch and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Technical expertise and experience in data analytics (e.g., SQL or Python) – candidate needs to have the ability to analyze data to make decisions
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, drift, explainability) and translating them into product features and controls
  • Management consulting skillset (problem solving, impact orientation, business understanding, program management, executive presence, top down communication, presentation skills)
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable product strategies
  • Exhibit leadership in driving cross-team collaboration and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Apply rigorous prioritization skills to balance competing demands and maximize product impact
  • Utilize exceptional project management abilities to deliver products on time and within budget
  • Display a results-oriented mindset, consistently achieving ambitious goals and driving measurable business outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline, Masters in math, statistics, analytics or Business is preferred
  • Experience in the payments industry and/or fintech or technology-enabled industries is a plus
  • Experience in creating solutions leveraging AI and fluency with the different AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences and build consensus across diverse stakeholders
  • Possess a proven track record of launching and scaling data-driven products in a commercial environment
  • Show adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving market landscape

Responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product and client backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Establish product KPIs/OKRs and analytics instrumentation to measure usage, satisfaction, and business impact; run experiments and A/B tests to improve engagement. Optimize adoption to drive desired business outcomes.
  • Manage individual product modules and team workstreams to push product initiatives into the market including alternative forms of data delivery and Ai capabilities
  • Support achieving sales goal targets, supports commercialization by analyzing client target lists, participate in internal and external events, build and maintain competitive intelligence, and identify new data sources to keep the product relevant and differentiated. 
  • Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction
  • Champion customer-centric design and feedback loops, leveraging insights to continuously refine and enhance product offerings
  • Drive the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to differentiate products and create new revenue streams
  • Lead stakeholder communications, providing clear updates on product progress, challenges, and opportunities to executive leadership
