Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Product Manager-Presto Speciality Business at our manufacturing plant in Appleton, WI. The Product Manager for the Presto Specialty business plays a central role in driving product strategy, commercial excellence, and customer engagement across three key product lines: Fresh-Lock® zippers and sliders, industrial films, and GeoSystems®. This position blends data-driven decision-making with cross-functional leadership, ensuring product performance, customer experience, and business processes operating at the highest level. The Product Manager manages critical systems, reporting, forecasting, and product lifecycle activities while supporting commercial and manufacturing teams. This role is preferably based in Appleton, Weyauwega, or Waupaca, close to key facilities and partners. Previous experience within the Specialty business is highly preferred. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of product management or development experience within CPG industry
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to translate business objectives into tactical actions and make sound business decisions under time pressure
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%)

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • Prior experience in Specialty is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the structure, accuracy, and usability of the CRM platforms; Ensure data integrity and streamline workflows to support commercial decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting views, and usage guidelines to improve adoption and visibility across teams, especially sales pipeline reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer records, including onboarding new customers, maintaining existing customers, and segmentation by market and products.
  • Track agreements, contracts, pricing terms, and renewal timelines.
  • Spearhead the quarterly forecasting process for all Specialty product lines; Serve as the primary POC for finance, supply planning, and operations/engineering.
  • Analyze trends, identify gaps and risks, and communicate insights to leadership around improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor resin market indices and translate changes into actionable insights for pricing, margin management, and customer communication.
  • Prepare and distribute resin updates to internal stakeholders and support the development of customer-facing messaging when appropriate.
  • Manage item lifecycle across Fresh-Lock®, industrial films, and GeoSystems®; Serve as the primary POC for operations, engineering, finance, and customer service.
  • Ensure accurate product attributes, costing, and hierarchy alignment, specifically supporting the SAP transition.
  • Optimize Power BI tools that support the commercial, operations, and finance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve data accessibility.
  • Deliver recurring reports including Sales performance, trends; Accruals; Resin tracking, Customer mapping, segmentation; and Financial summaries, analysis.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership to add profitability and eliminate cost.
  • Support the GeoSystems® team by maintaining documentation, training materials, and compliance requirements related to product standards and certifications.
  • Monitor and manage the GeoSystems® customer support inbox and hotline activity.
  • Ensure timely responses, proper documentation, and escalation of technical or quality-related inquiries.
  • Assist with preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities for ISO audits at the Weyauwega and Waupaca facilities.
