Primary Responsibilities: Assists in developing new products and product enhancements. Analyzes products for efficiencies, appropriateness, serviceability, cost containment, and statute conformity. Analyzes products and ensures adequate pricing. Assists with statistical research, data manipulation, project modeling and report generation. Assists with quality control, user access, user understanding, and usefulness of department reports. Knowledge and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience with property and casualty insurance knowledge. Other desired coursework may include mathematics, statistics, computing, finance, or other analytical topics. 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Familiar with insurance products and regulations. Ability making sounds decisions and substantiate these decisions. Effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry related software for essential job functions Continuing effort and desire to increase knowledge through applicable training, designations, and/or certificate programs.
