About The Position

We’re looking for a Product Manager, Grid Services to own the roadmap for Emerald AI’s grid-interactive orchestration capabilities. In this role, you will define the systems that allow AI data centers to respond intelligently to energy constraints, utility signals, and grid events—while preserving workload reliability and performance. You’ll work across software, energy markets, and data center infrastructure to build products that coordinate telemetry, forecasting, controls, and optimization logic in real time. This is a highly strategic and technical role at the intersection of AI infrastructure, data center operations, and grid services. You’ll help define how flexible AI load participates in grid programs, how infrastructure responds to real-time constraints, and how Emerald delivers economic value to both customers and the power system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in infrastructure software, energy systems, or industrial controls
  • Expertise in energy software systems used by grids and/or data centers.
  • Experience with regulator compliance and M&V for energy orchestration
  • Experience with demand response, grid services, or energy market products
  • Experience with telemetry, automation, optimization, or controls products
  • Strong technical writing and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Ability to evaluate tradeoffs across performance, reliability, and economics
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SCADA, EMS, DERMS, or utility integrations
  • Experience building 0→1 infrastructure software products
  • Exposure to AI infrastructure or GPU workloads is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for Emerald AI’s grid services and energy orchestration capabilities
  • Build product capabilities that coordinate AI workloads, infrastructure systems, and grid signals
  • Work with customers, utilities, and infrastructure partners to identify needs and define requirements
  • Define capabilities for demand response, dynamic load management, and utility interoperability
  • Partner with engineering to build resilient, real-time control systems
  • Develop business cases for infrastructure savings, operational efficiency, and grid services revenue
  • Lead customer pilots from solution design through commercialization

Benefits

  • Competitive pay + equity
  • Stock options
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
