About The Position

Quadra is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of specialty ingredients within its Food & Nutrition business. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, managing product lifecycles, building supplier relationships, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive profitable growth across North America. The position combines elements of product management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, market development, and commercial leadership. The Product Manager will serve as the business expert for their product portfolio, partnering closely with suppliers and sales teams to optimize profitability and drive long-term business growth. This US-based role offers location flexibility, with a preference for candidates near a major airport to support travel across North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Business Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a commercial, sales, or business development role within the Food & Nutrition industry.
  • At least 3 years in Product Management, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of food ingredients, market trends, supply chain dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Established network of industry contacts, customers, and supplier partners.
  • Proven experience developing market strategies, business plans, and growth initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a solid understanding of commercial drivers, profitability, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while navigating complex business challenges.
  • Passion for contributing to a high-performing, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time across North America and internationally, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.

  • Support forecasting, inventory planning, and business reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of broader business strategies.
  • Represent Quadra at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Expand and maintain a strong professional network within the food and nutrition sector.
