About The Position

Quadra is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of specialty ingredients within its Food & Nutrition business. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, building supplier relationships, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive profitable growth across North America. The position combines elements of product management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, market development, and commercial leadership. The Product Manager will serve as the business expert for their product portfolio, partnering closely with suppliers and sales teams to identify opportunities, optimize profitability, and drive long-term business growth. This US-based role offers flexibility regarding location, with a preference for candidates located near a major airport to support customer, supplier, and industry travel across North America.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Business Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a commercial, sales, or business development role within the Food & Nutrition industry
At least 3 years in Product Management, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement
Strong knowledge of food ingredients, market trends, supply chain dynamics, and customer needs
Established network of industry contacts, customers, and supplier partners
Proven experience developing market strategies, business plans, and growth initiatives that deliver measurable results
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is considered an asset
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated business acumen and a solid understanding of commercial drivers, profitability, and market dynamics
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization and with external stakeholders
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while navigating complex business challenges
Passion for contributing to a high-performing, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture
Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time across North America and internationally, including occasional overnight travel
Valid driver's license and passport required

Develop and execute portfolio growth strategies aligned with business objectives
Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities
Manage product lifecycle activities and portfolio optimization initiatives
