About The Position

Heritage Hall is currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Manager. The Food & Nutrition Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and directing of the Food & Nutrition Services Department. They participate in the total plan of care for residents; enhance productivity, ensure compliance; undertake staffing responsibilities (hiring, training, evaluating etc.), assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses, assist with staff scheduling, and perform other duties as requested by the Director of Food & Nutrition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of state or ADA approved course in food services
• Experience in an institutional food service operation
• One-year supervisory experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and directing of the Food & Nutrition Services Department.
• Participate in the total plan of care for residents.
• Enhance productivity and ensure compliance.
• Undertake staffing responsibilities (hiring, training, evaluating etc.).
• Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses.
• Assist with staff scheduling.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Food & Nutrition.
