They focus on collectible cards, graphic novels, numismatics, philatelic items, and toys. As a Product Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end initiatives with design, research, marketing, and engineering, defining vision, metrics, and technical requirements, synthesizing data into insights, and using AI to accelerate delivery. This includes elevating trust, rapidly growing inventory breadth and depth, and driving growth for those who purchase and offer items.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • AI-first product acceleration: Proficiency with genAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude) to draft PRDs, synthesize research, generate test plans, and automate workflows (Python/SQL/Apps Script)
  • Customer-focused collector: Deep familiarity with trading cards, comics, coins, stamps, and toys, including grading, authentication, and provenance; confirmed to achieve superb UX under tight constraints.
  • Cross-functional influence without authority: Collaborates across Search, Selling, Identity, Payments, Trust, Shipping; align partners and roadmaps through streamlined storytelling, data, and a can-do, team-first approach.
  • Communication and credentials: Excellent written and verbal English; executive-ready storytelling; open to diverse paths—certifications like CSPO, Pragmatic, PMP are valued but not required; bonus: API literacy and experience integrating ML-powered features.

Responsibilities

  • Drive category growth by launching high-impact features across trading cards, comics, coins, stamps, and toys, targeting double-digit YoY GMV and +10–20% conversion lifts in priority buyer/seller journeys.
  • Elevate the standard of trust by expanding authentication, grading, and provenance experiences, aiming for double-digit reductions in claims/fraud and +5–10 point gains in buyer confidence metrics.
  • Develop frictionless workflows end-to-end (list, buy, manage), reducing list-to-live time and checkout steps to deliver +15% sell-through and +20% repeat purchase improvements in focus segments.
  • Lead cross-functional influence with every eBay product domain—Search, Selling, Identity, Payments, Shipping, Trust to align roadmaps and ship multi-quarter initiatives that move company-level OKRs.
  • Advance data and AI excellence by defining north-star metrics, building dashboards, and running rigorous experiments, using AI tools to shorten cycle times by 20–30% while increasing insight quality and delivery speed.
