The Switching Solutions team within Payment Networks is dedicated to delivering strategic business outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and disciplined execution. We work closely with program owners, product managers, delivery teams, technology organizations, regional and global partners, and technical writers to define business requirements and drive effective technology solutions. These partnerships enable strategic alignment, informed decision-making, and the delivery of customer and business value across Mastercard's Transaction Switching, Clearing, Network Products, and related initiatives. Through strong collaboration and operational excellence, we deliver meaningful results that advance Mastercard's strategic priorities while supporting the success of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Previous internship, academic project, or relevant experience involving product analysis, business requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, or related activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through coursework, student organizations, volunteer work, or other extracurricular involvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with individuals across varying levels of technical and business expertise.
  • Ability to translate business needs and objectives into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an interest in bridging business goals and technology solutions.
  • This role is not eligible for Mastercard’s work authorization sponsorship. As such, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, now as well as in the future, without employer sponsorship. For example, students or recent graduates in the United States on an F1 visa (including those with CPT or OPT authorization) are not eligible for this role
