About The Position

Mastercard's internship program offers more than hands-on work. It provides an opportunity to build skills, expand your network, and make a meaningful impact while working on projects that support business priorities. The AI Ops team uses AI, machine learning, and data science techniques to detect anomalies, predict impact, and initiate remediation. The team creates insights—in the form of dashboards, reports, and alerts—from operations data and helps stakeholders make data-driven decisions for planning, troubleshooting, or monitoring application health.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Data Science or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Experience with ETL development, data integration, and database technologies
• Proficiency with Databricks and AWS cloud services
• Hands-on experience delivering machine learning projects and solutions
• Experience building, deploying, or supporting AI agents and agent-based applications
• This role is not eligible for Mastercard’s work authorization sponsorship.
