About The Position

Molex, a Koch Company, is seeking Product Management Interns to join our teams this upcoming Summer 2027 in Lisle, IL and Minneapolis, MN! Requirements

  • Enrolled in a STEM degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
  • Willing to work in-person at our Lisle, IL or Minneapolis, MN for the duration of the internship
  • Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in engineering, manufacturing, technology, or related fields

Nice To Haves

  • Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree program
  • Enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in an applicable field
  • Previous internship, co-op, lab, project, research, or leadership experience
  • Experience with CAD software, data analytics tools, statistical analysis, automation tools, or programming languages such as Python, SQL, or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or operational excellence principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Interest in electronics, connector technology, manufacturing processes, product development, or data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to support the execution of strategic product and engineering initiatives.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies to help ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze customer, market, and product performance data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making.
  • Support product roadmap planning by gathering requirements, documenting priorities, and assisting with project planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, dashboards, reports, and presentations for cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, operations, and commercial teams to drive alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in product development and continuous improvement initiatives, helping identify opportunities to create greater value for customers and the business.
  • Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to team members and business stakeholders throughout the internship.
