Product Management Intern
About The Position

Join our Product Management team as a 2027 summer intern, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting new product initiatives, value engineering projects, and cross-functional collaboration that drives innovation. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Business, Engineering, or related fields who want exposure to product lifecycle management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This internship provides the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in product management, gain exposure to product design and testing, and learn how cross-functional teams bring new products to market. Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field
- Coursework or prior internship/project experience in product management, operations, or engineering
- Cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) or data visualization software
- Interest in product development, value engineering, and lifecycle management
- Experience in customer service, office administration, or student leadership roles
Responsibilities
- Assist with value add/value engineering (VA/VE) projects to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve product marketability.
- Support the development and refinement of product documentation, brochures, presentations, and tools.
- Contribute to market and competitive research to help define value-added product features that align with customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineers, sourcing, and operations teams to track project timelines, update schedules, and align deliverables.
- Contribute to vital initiatives involving customer experience, IT systems, metrics tracking or product positioning.
