About The Position

This internship focuses on product management activities, including testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products. The intern will characterize, evaluate, and report on equipment viability, support equipment design work, and participate in design reviews. Responsibilities also include supporting and documenting product cycle testing, updating product data books, compiling data packages, and creating/verifying bills of materials and engineering releases. The role involves creating and updating equipment datasheets and technical documentation, as well as undertaking other assigned projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently following direction, with strong time management skills
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and practices
• Basic design skills and familiarity with SolidWorks or other, similar design software
• Solid skillset in Microsoft Office suite
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university program, having completed Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles a plus
• Prior manufacturing internships preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD modeling preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products

• Update and/or complete product data books
• Compile data packages
