About The Position

This internship focuses on product management activities, including testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products. The intern will characterize and evaluate equipment, support design work and reviews, and participate in product cycle testing. Responsibilities also include updating product data books, compiling data packages, and managing bills of materials and engineering releases. Additionally, the intern will create and update equipment datasheets and technical documentation, and undertake other assigned projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently following direction, with strong time management skills
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and practices
• Basic design skills and familiarity with SolidWorks or other, similar design software
• Solid skillset in Microsoft Office suite
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university program, having completed Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles a plus
• Prior manufacturing internships preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD modeling preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products
• Characterize, evaluate, and report on the viability of equipment
• Support equipment design work, to include participating in design reviews
• Support and document product cycle testing for design test to failure
• Update and/or complete product data books
• Compile data packages
• Create, verify, and update bills of materials and engineering releases
• Create and update equipment datasheets and technical documentation
• Other projects and duties, as assigned
