About The Position

TalkingParents is a leading software company that provides critical communication solutions for co-parents. Our platform enables separated or divorced parents to maintain secure, documented communication while creating court-admissible records. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Lifecycle Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support product initiatives throughout the full product lifecycle, helping guide work from idea validation and planning through release readiness and post-launch follow-up. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations, and leadership teams to improve clarity, alignment, documentation quality, and operational readiness across multiple initiatives. This position is responsible for identifying documentation gaps, unclear ownership, risks, dependencies, scope concerns, and operational impacts before they create downstream issues, while helping translate information between technical and non-technical audiences. You will also help maintain lifecycle standards, improve cross-functional coordination, and leverage AI-assisted tools to strengthen documentation review, lifecycle tracking, and overall operational clarity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, SaaS operations, lifecycle management, project coordination, or a related role that requires working across business, technical, operational, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to review planning and scope documents, initiative summaries, product requirements, release notes, stakeholder summaries, and supporting materials for clarity, completeness, consistency, and usability.
  • Ability to identify unclear scope, missing assumptions, unresolved questions, ownership gaps, dependencies, risks, and readiness concerns before they create downstream confusion.
  • Experience working across diverse business, technical, operational, customer-facing, and leadership teams to clarify needs, surface dependencies, and improve shared understanding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate product, technical, operational, and customer-impact information for different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain visibility into lifecycle status, documentation needs, decision points, and follow-up items across multiple initiatives.
  • Sound judgment in knowing when to clarify, document, escalate, align stakeholders, or reinforce scope boundaries.
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and surface risks or gaps in a neutral, solution-oriented way.
  • Comfortable working in evolving environments, changing priorities, and open questions while helping teams move toward clarity and alignment.
  • Ability to understand how product changes may impact internal teams, customer-facing teams, customers, operations, support workflows, and business needs.
  • Familiarity with SaaS product development concepts, including product discovery, requirements definition, release planning, customer impact, system dependencies, and operational readiness.
  • Familiarity with product management, documentation, lifecycle tracking, or work management tools such as ClickUp, Github, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to improve documentation review, research, validation, risk identification, lifecycle tracking, and operational clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Support product work as it moves through idea validation, definition, readiness, release support, and post-launch follow-up.
  • Maintain visibility into where initiatives are within the product lifecycle.
  • Review product planning and scope documents, initiative summaries, and supporting materials for clarity, completeness, and consistency.
  • Help Product Managers and Chapter Leads strengthen problem statements, objectives, assumptions, scope boundaries, user impact, and success criteria.
  • Identify documentation gaps, unclear ownership, risks, dependencies, or assumptions that need to be addressed.
  • Ensure lifecycle documentation clearly separates in-scope items, out-of-scope items, open questions, known risks, dependencies, and decision points.
  • Serve as a bridge between Product, Engineering, UI/UX, CXP, Marketing, Operations, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Help translate context between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ask thoughtful questions that surface risks, constraints, assumptions, and downstream operational impacts.
  • Support release readiness by helping ensure documentation, stakeholder awareness, risks, dependencies, and operational considerations are clearly understood before launch.
  • Help ensure impacted teams have the information needed to prepare for customer-facing changes.
  • Maintain and improve lifecycle templates, documentation standards, handoff expectations, and lightweight process guidance.
  • Reinforce documented scope boundaries and help identify when new ideas or requests require separate evaluation.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve documentation review, lifecycle tracking, risk identification, and operational clarity where appropriate.
