Come join our team in the role as a Corn Product Life Cycle Manager in licensing! Some of the key responsibilities would be to partner with assigned Genetic Supplier and Key Independent Seed Company (ISC) to document desired portfolios and communicate gaps to Licensing and Research leadership. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Licensing Portfolio Leader and Corteva Research Scientists to ensure superior products with targeted traits are developed, evaluated and advanced at the R3L-R5L (corn) pre-commercial testing. Contribute to the development of new hybrids that will be utilized in the licensing pipeline. Develop a strong and overall knowledge of Vylor Inbreds to support our Genetic Suppliers. Provide product observations to drive product learning for suitability of intended use and steering for trait score adjustments. Ensure licensing maintains unique portfolios that are suitable for the Genetic Suppliers geography and meet the technology direction, product count goals and volume targets. Maintain relationships with licensing contacts to facilitate in-field and classroom product knowledge transfer and training. Responsible for obtaining and relaying working knowledge of hybrids and inbreds sold by the assigned genetic suppliers and ISC within assigned geography. Participate in the knowledge transfer of agronomics closely associated with product lines, e.g., product population recommendations, product x herbicide interactions, seed treatment efficacy, etc. This position is remote but would be ideally located in central Minnesota and may consider surrounding areas. This position would cover the areas of North and South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
